Corralejo Mini Train
The capital city of the island of Fuerteventura, situated immediately south of Lanzarote, has a constrained number of road trains. The same is evident in Corralejo, a town on Fuerteventura.
Even though these aren't real trains and won't ever transport travelers to locations like the Fuerteventura Airport, they are a treat for tourists and a wonderful way to explore the area. They have wheels like a conventional car but are shaped like a beautiful train with carriages.
Corralejo Mini Train runs from Monday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and on Sundays until 2:30 pm. The tour lasts about 30 minutes and costs 5 euros. It starts and ends at the harbor, giving you time to relax and take advantage of everything Corralejo offers.
The carriages are easy to add or remove, so the train can carry the right amount of passengers. It provides tourists with the opportunity to shoot stunning images as it passes past the town.
Further notable ports on the island of Fuerteventura are Puerto del Rosario and Morro Jable, from which Naviera Armas operates various boats. Ferries depart at Morro Jable seven times each week for Las Palmas on Gran Canaria and once per week for Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
The two trips last between three and six hours each. Three weekly sailings take passengers from Puerto del Rosario to Las Palmas.
Travelers landing at Fuerteventura Airport will have a variety of transit alternatives on the island thanks to these ports. They include buses, taxis, and rental cars if they travel by boat to the Fuerteventura part of the island.
